Born in the Crimea. In 1968 graduated from the secondary art school in 1976 and the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture named after I. E. Repin. A member of the Union of artists of the USSR since 1984. Solo exhibitions: Saint Petersburg. The work of the artist purchased the Irkutsk art Museum. The works of I. L. Senkovo are in private collections in France, Germany, USA, Switzerland.
