Giovanni Morassutti is an actor and an experimental visual artist currently living in Berlin. He combines action painting and collage techniques with dynamic brushstrokes, and found materials including Illustrations, portraits and textiles. Many of Morassutti’s paintings have also plastic fake eyes installed on the canvas.Example of this work are: Three Sisters and Family Tree. Themes are related to sexuality, obsession, suffering, family, loneliness and death. Morassutti is also a video artist and in 2017 he realized a collection of artworks pairing wine with contemporary art including his video Ribolla and the work of many other artists.

He is influenced by the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, Julian Schnabel, Jackson Pollock among others.
