Born in 1938 in Tashkent.

In 1958 he graduated from the Republican art College im. After p. p. Benkov, specialty master - artist of wood carving. In 1964 he graduated from the Leningrad higher art - industrial school im. Mukhina specialty of a painter on glass and ceramics. In 1964, he worked as a designer in SHCB in Yerevan. In 1964 - 65 G. G. has taught at the Tashkent art. school. Benkova. In 1965 - 66 G. G. worked as a glass artist at glassworks "Red may" in Vyshny Volochyok.

From 1966 to 1975 he worked as chief artist of the glass factory in Kalinin ( Tver ). From 1974 to this day teaches in THU im. Venetsianov. From 1981 to 1983 at the mission of the Ministry of culture of the USSR, he taught at the painting Department of the Institute of fine arts in Aden ( PDRY ).

With the transition to teaching was actively engaged in painting, mainly portrait.

Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1970 Participates in exhibitions since 1957.

Products of woodcarving exhibited in Tashkent and the festival of the all-Union exhibition in Moscow in 1957.

Glassware were exhibited at regional, zonal, Republican, all-Union, international and world exhibitions.

The painting was exhibited at the regional, national and international exhibitions.

Solo exhibitions: Tver - 1968, 1983, 1991, 1993, 2003 G. G. Aden ( southern Yemen ) - 1982, Moscow - 1983.

Laureate of the international Triennial of glass in Czechoslovakia " Jablonec - 73 ". 1997 - Honored artist of Russia.

The carving is kept at the State art Museum and the Museum of decorative - applied art in Tashkent. Glass is stored in the State historical Museum in Moscow, the Russian Museum of decorative - applied art in Moscow, the Tula regional art Museum Tver art gallery, in a United historical - architectural Museum in Tver and Sergiev Posad. Paintings and drawings stored in the Tver art gallery.
