Son Of P. A. Gordeev. Together with his younger brother, the poet Bozidar, was in the “Blue Lily” Agafonov.

Tarasenkova taken into account at the book decorated Gordeyev in 1918 and published in Tbilisi. This, and I found Tbilisi (also 1918) publication of the Gordeeva (“On the twisted part in the artistic life of Tbilisi”), in good agreement with the words Kosareva that older brother Bozidar “finished its activities in Tbilisi.” From Vogel said later, was the head. What Gordeev lived in Tbilisi, confirms and A. Yu. Leibfreid, reported that “Gordeev known as the art historian. He is the author of the first attempts to summarize the history of architecture of the Kharkov — section “Kharkiv architecture” in pre-revolutionary guide to Kharkov, passed three editions 102 . Published in 1927, article Gordeeva (by that time it Professor) contained information about collected by him in 1912 — 1915 drawings for the Museum of Ukrainian art in Kharkov.

In the Kharkov period of his life Gordeev collaborated with F. I. Shmit (I think was his student) and S. Taranushenko. Participated in the creation of the Museum of Church antiquities in Odessa.”
