Alexander V. Pechatnov (November 27, 1957, Ryazan - January 15, 2015, Ryazan) was a Russian graphic artist. He worked in landscape, still life, created abstract and figurative compositions in the classical technique of watercolor painting. Recently he was also engaged in oil painting. Participant of numerous exhibitions. Alexander Pechatnov's watercolors are kept in the state museum-reserve of S.A. Yesenin, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
He is a graduate of the Graphics Department of the Leningrad Academy of Arts. Diploma work on "A series of prints "Man and Nature". Apprentice of Vladimir Vetrogonsky, People's Artist of Russia, full member of the Academy of Arts. Alexander Pechatnov was a member of the Union of Artists of Russia. He lived and worked in Ryazan.
He died in his studio on the morning of January 15, 2015.
