National Museum of Fine ArtsChile presents an exhibition of the works of the traveler and artist José Venturelli (1924, Santiago - 1988, Beijing). The author portrayed social reality inspired by the great ideals and changes that the society of his time experienced. He communicated with intellectuals, politicians, workers and peasants. The exhibition explores the legacy of the painter three decades after his death.
Venturelli dedicated his talent to wall painting and engraving, illustrations. The sphere of his interests included the development and strengthening of friendly relations of Latin American countries with China. He is like his love and affection between China and the homeland. Now his home in Chile is reminiscent of the honorary representation of Chinese art, and the apartment in Beijing represents the art and folklore of South America.
