Gary Bowman Gallery hosts an exhibition of Vladimir Patyk
"The man who was born with a brush in his hand". In the artistic style Patyka plays pure color. The artist often resorts to contrasts of red and green, orange-yellow and blue-violet, red and white. Vladimir Iosifovich Patyk (1926-2016) - Ukrainian painter, landscape painter, master of still life. Born in s. Chorny Island, Lviv region He studied at the art and industrial school in Lviv. He graduated from the Lviv Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts. People's Artist of Ukraine. Winner of the National State Prize. T. Shevchenko. Took part in republican and personal exhibitions. Works of Vladimir Patyk are in the National Art Museum of Ukraine, Lviv National Gallery of Art, museums in Ukraine, Canada, in private galleries and collections around the world.
