The Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Karelia presents a solo exhibition on the 65th anniversary of the artist “Vladimir Balandin. Talent. Mastery Inspiration".

The art of Vladimir Balandin has been shaking the inexperienced spectator for several decades already. Openwork, air, slits, jewelries, caskets, boxes, combs and other intricate bone products that look like magnificent lace or frosty patterns became the pride of many museum and private collections in Russia and abroad. The artist works in the best traditions of Kholmogory and North Russian bone carving.
In addition, the exhibition “Vladimir Balandin. Talent. Mastery Inspiration "viewers will see not only works made in the technique of bone carving, but also a series of graphic works of the author.
