Robert Falk. Verge of creativity

To the 60th anniversary of the death, in the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the Moscow Region "New Jerusalem" an exhibition is held “Robert Falk. Facets of creativity ". The exhibition presents 57 paintings and graphic works by the artist from the collection of the New Jerusalem Museum and six other Russian museums, as well as private collections.

The exhibition allows visitors to trace the whole creative way of Falk, from becoming into painting at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, to recent works, and to get acquainted with the diversity of interests of the artist, who worked in the portrait, landscape and still life genres with the same brilliance.

Among the exhibits stand out the paintings and drawings of the Paris period, which lasted almost 10 years from 1928 to 1937. Indeed, despite the fact that this time is one of the most fruitful in the artist’s work, such works are rare in Russia.
