State Russian Museum presents the exhibition “Unexpected Malevich. From the archive A.A. Leporskaya, donated to the Russian Museum ".

Creativity Kazimir Malevich known and popular all over the world. Many have heard about the painting "Black Square" and the artist's Suprematist compositions. But these are all paintings, which, by the way, are in the Russian Museum more than in any other meeting of the world.

But the schedule of Malevich is little known, and is rare. There were only 35 of them in the collection of the State Russian Museum. Recently, the situation has changed: the Russian Museum of R.F. Strimaitis received 117 drawings by Malevich from the Leporsk-Suetin archive. Such was the desire of Nina Nikolaevna Suetina, the successor of A.A. Leporskaya and daughter N.N. Suetin.

On the eve of the 125th anniversary of the Russian Museum, it is extremely important to publish and show this unique collection of graphic works.
