Boris Mikhailovich Kustodiev - famous Russian artist of the early twentieth century. In his portrait, Fyodor Ivanovich Shalyapin is depicted full-length in a rich beaver fur coat against the background of motley Maslenitsa festivities.

The original portrait of Chaliapin bought and took him with him to emigration to France in 1922. Now he is in the house-museum of Shalyapin.

In the Russian Museum - a reduced copy of the author, who arrived in Magnitogorsk.
