Taras Kovach. Slum

Closer Art Center hosts Taras Kovacs exhibition "Slum". The painter works with the theme of the urban landscape. The artist fills the city landscapes with a premonition of danger, uncertainty in events. The author raises questions that concern each of us: a man is at once beautiful, ugly or beautiful in his imperfection. Doubts and anxieties seem grandiose and unshakable, and after a moment frivolous and petty.

Taras Kovach - Ukrainian graphic artist. Born in 1982. He graduated from Uzhgorod Art College. A. Erdeli, National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Faculty of Graphics. Member of the National Union of Artists since 2008. Received a gold medal from the Academy of Arts (Ukraine, 2010). He lives and works in Kiev.
