About the exhibition
In the gallery CerModern in Ankara, Eren Eyyuboglu’s exhibition "Life and Work" is taking place. In retrospect, more than 400 paintings of the author, made in various techniques, with a variety of effects and forms. The author is called semi-abstract expressionist.

Eren Eyyuboglu was born in 1913 in Romania and began taking private painting lessons during her school years. She studied at the Romanian Academy of Arts, and in 1929 went to Paris, where she studied for four years at the Julian Academy. In the first period of her creative work, Eyuboglu worked in the constructivist style, and in later paintings she turned to color and ethnic motifs, developed her own style, especially in the depiction of Turkish women. In addition to the paintings and drawings made numerous wall panels of various materials. She died in 1988 in Istanbul.
