Whole rembrandt

Exhibition February 15 − June 10, 2019
Exhibition-blockbuster called"Entire Rembrandt" will be the central event of the program, which the museum has prepared for the 350th anniversary of the death of the master of the Golden Age. The institution owns the world's largest collection of works by the artist, and the audience for the first time will see 22 paintings, 60 drawings and more than 300 of the best copies of Rembrandt's engravings. This is undoubtedly the first - but, apparently, the last - a show of this magnitude.

The main exhibit will be the most iconic and beloved by many Rembrandt's painting “Night Watch”, which from July - after the end of the exhibition - will be sent to a large-scale restoration.
