The Dalicj Gallery in London joins events to mark the 360th anniversary of Rembrandt’s death. Curators named the upcoming exhibition "The Light of Rembrandt". For her, international institutions lent 35 carefully selected paintings, which were painted in 1639 - 1658, the most fruitful for the artist. Among them - "Philemon and Bawkid" from the collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington.
A thematically organized exhibition will follow Rembrandt's innovations: from awakening a meditative mood to creating effect and drama. Among the important works are the three most famous female images of Rembrandt: "A woman bathing in the creek", "A woman in bed" and an inimitable "Girl by the window." These works will be posted for the first time next.
