Nikita Tsoi. HAMPERDU

In the gallery "White World" is a personal exhibition of the young Kiev artist Nikita Tsoi "HAMPERDU". The artist found inspiration for the presented canvases in modern media, for example, in the television series Preacher.
In the works the author uses the finest shades of color. The works, sustained in one size and tone, are similar to archive photos of characters borrowed from personal files. At the same time, their faces are washed out, ruthlessly deformed and even ominous. Pictures of Nikita Tsoi are easily recognizable due to their expressiveness and non-standard composition. The artist often experiments with physicality, peculiarly deforming human muscles.
Nikita Tsoi began painting at the age of 5 years. He graduated from the National Academy of Arts in Kiev. Was the nominee of many special competitions and awards.
