Arthur Boyd. Landscape of the soul

Exhibition January 10 − March 9, 2019
Arthur Boyd exhibition held at the National Art School of Sydney "Landscape of the soul". The exposition consists of the works of the Bundanon Trust collection. Paintings, prints, drawings, photographs and archival materials of this exhibition - from light-filled early landscapes to exhausted figures - reveal the inner landscape and creative artist's odyssey.

Arthur Merrick Bloomfield Boyd (1920–1999) was a leading Australian artist of the late twentieth century. Boyd's work ranges from impressionistic views of the Australian landscape to a sharply expressionistic configuration. The artist gave the residents of Australia a family estate of 1,100 hectares and thousands of his works. He was awarded many prizes and awards, including the Order of Australia. Creations of the master are represented in the National Gallery, in all state and regional museums, in private collections, both nationally and internationally.
