RA Gallery presents a personal exhibition of Edward Belsky "Sight". Favorite genres of the artist - a portrait, cityscape, seascape, at least - still life. A special place in the work of the author are female portraits. These are not portraits in the traditional sense, but rather some forms of fixing Jehovah on the canvas: Roman profiles, expressive lips, sad eyes created by several strokes and strokes. In addition to painting, the master is known for his etchings, made in the technique of "dry needle". They are dominated by female portraits, including, and double, as well as nudity, where graceful forms are transmitted by several uneven strokes, dark spots and bright strokes.
Edward Belsky was born in 1963 in Volyn. He graduated from the Republican art school, then Dnepropetrovsk art school and the Ukrainian Academy of Arts (Department of monumental painting). Since 1992 - member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. He lives and works in Kiev. Participated in more than 20 solo exhibitions in Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Sweden, the United States, as well as numerous group art festivals. His works are presented in galleries in most European countries and in the USA.
