Angelo Venos. Penumbra

In the gallery of Nara Roesler in Sao Paulo eight sculptures are exhibited Angelo Venos. Six of them belong to the Espiritu Santo State Museum, and two are exhibited for the first time. Works are made of bronze, wood, fabric and fiberglass. Sculptures form a shadow created by the incident light, and create a special fairy-tale atmosphere.

Angelo Venos - a native of Sao Paulo. He moved to Rio de Janeiro in 1974, where he graduated from the Higher School of Industrial Design. In the 1980s, he attended courses at the School of Fine Arts at Lage Park, and in 2007 he defended his thesis “Opacity” at the Graduate School of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro. Is one of the few artists from the so-called "Generation 80". The participant of numerous exhibitions at home and abroad.
