Galerie Urs Meile presents Wild Wind, the second solo exhibition of Swiss aspiring artist Rebecca Steiger.
Painting for Steiger is a means to cope with the problems in which she plunged. In her paintings, the artist blurs the boundaries between the background, middle and foreground. The result is a growing contradiction between abstract, figurative and hovering in the air.
Calling her pictures, Steiger mixes languages and plays with a loss of meaning, which allows her to leave the interpretation open to the viewer.
