India: Paintings by David Bradley

For the past three decades, David Bradley has been recognized as the "voice" of an Indian country, facing in his work with issues of identity, self-determination and self-presentation, as well as definitions of "traditional" Indians.

Bradley draws inspiration from painting in the style of Santa Fe from the 1930s and 40s, Renaissance art, pop culture, advertising and cinema. Himwork at the same time serious and cheerful, historical and modern.
