The exhibition presents works by Kazimir Malevich, Ilya Kabakov, Mikhail Grobman and many others, as well as representatives of the new generation of Russian avant-garde.
The exhibition includes exhibits of the Tretyakov Gallery, the Hermitage, the Pompidou Center, the collection of Mikhail Grobman in Tel Aviv and other major museums and private collections. The exhibition is complemented by thematic books, letters and photographs.
The exhibition will illustrate the avant-garde trends in Russian art in the 20th century and will focus on the formation of artistic movements that accompanied the political and historical processes that took place in the country at that time.
Of particular interest are the works of Kazimir Malevich until 1920, emphasizing the period of Suprematism in his work and having a great influence on the next generations of artists.
