An exhibition of paintings by Elena Markovich and Dmitry Makovetsky is held in Uzhgorod gallery “Diptych”Spring expression. Young artists presented 16 canvases that convey the mood of nature, the feeling of being born, awakening from sleep.
At the heart of the work of both painters - tenderness, sincerity and openness. The art style of Dmitry Makovetsky is distinguished by chaotic large strokes, which, combined with the always thoughtful and contrasting background, create the impression of presence. Elena Markovich transmits her vision of the world with broad, confident strokes, her lyrical and bright palette conveys a mood. In her works, the artist tries to show what inspires her - the beauty of the world around her.
Elena Markovich was born in 1987 in Donetsk. She graduated from the Donetsk Art School, Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Art. Participant of national and international exhibitions and plein airs. Her works are in private collections in Ukraine, Israel, Russia, France and the Netherlands.
Dmitry Makovetsky was born in 1985 in Murmansk. He graduated from the Murmansk State Pedagogical University and the Kharkov State Academy of Design and Art, department of easel painting. Member of national and international plein air and exhibitions.
