Waiting for spring

Cultural Center "House of Ozerov" holds an exhibition "Waiting for spring"dedicated to the memory of the artist Andrei Meshchanov (1963 - 2018).

The exhibition presents picturesque canvases of the original Russian symbolist painter, created in the period of the end of the 20th - beginning of the 21st century, whose attitude and manner of performance leave no one indifferent.

In the paintings of Andrei Meshchanov, the real world is intertwined with the world fabulous and fantastic. These are landscapes and still lifes, amazing creatures and people.

His work is extraordinary and surreal. The artist paints fantastically - fantastic and mythical paintings with philosophical meaning.

Exhibitions of paintings by Andrey Meshchanov were repeatedly held in Moscow, his works are in private collections in Russia, Germany, Canada, Bulgaria, Hungary, the USA.

The painting of the author every time makes the viewer wonder. And this wonder acts in such a way that, having broken away from his new works, the viewer turns to the old ones and unexpectedly gets to know them as new ones.

The work of Andrey Meshchanov is unique, and therefore will live a very long time.
