Svyatoslav of God

The Odessa Museum of Western and Oriental Art hosts an anniversary exhibition of works. Svyatoslav of God from the artist's family collection. The exhibition presents works created in the 1950s - 1980s. The author wrote thematic compositions, still lifes, portraits and landscapes. Early canvases are marked by drama, tragic patriotic sound; the landscape works are characterized by a lyric-poetic tonality, a bright plein air solution, moderate expression.

Svyatoslav of God (1938-1999) - painter, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Honored Art Worker of the Ukrainian SSR, laureate of the regional Komsomol Prize. E. Bagritsky. Born in 1938 in Odessa, he studied at the Odessa Art School and at the Kiev Art School. The works are in the Art Museum of Odessa and in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, USA, France, Japan.
