George Condo: I think

George Condo (born 1957 in Concord, new Hampshire) is an American contemporary visual artist working in such arts as painting, graphics, sculpture and engraving. At the moment he lives and works in new York.
This is a prolific artist whose creative career spans three decades. He is best known for its rich pictorial inventions, existential humor.
George Condo deals with the study of the portrait genre, finding inspiration in European history portraits, American cartoon, as well as Greek mythology, creating your work with dark humor, in his own inimitable style. Condo painting combines cubism and expressionism with elements of satirical cartoons.
Working in new York and Paris (where he lived from 1985 to 1995), Condo has long contested the superiority of painting over drawing.
This exhibition includes more than 200 drawings and sketches, and eight, "drawing paintings", which allows visitors to reach an understanding of the mind and creative process of this extremely imaginative and talented author.
