About the exhibition
Working primarily on graphics, Seattle artist Gretchen Francis Bennett explores visual perception at the intersection of personal and historical memory. Her atmospheric work conveys the emotional power of everyday moments, in a paradoxical way, trying to formulate ineffable aspects of subjective experience that elude documentation.

«Air, free or unlimited space above the ground"Describes, according to Bennett," a changing personality, "combining key works over the past ten years, along with five new ones, which reflect the artist's constant search for freedom, authenticity and interconnection.
