Gallery "Scene" holds a solo exhibition of Georgian artist Ria Kacharava "Road Narrows".
The exhibition presents the author's works, executed in the genre of figurative painting with elements of street art and abstraction.
One of the key images of the creative method of Rii Kacharava are masks that can be found both as an integral image and as an attribute of humanized figures. Thus, the artist explores the problems of public images and social representation in modern society.
Prior to creating the Riya collection, for several years she studied ritual masks from different eras and nations, drawing creative inspiration from magical traditions and culture.
In addition, it is inspired by the spirit of modern streets. And although Ria is more of a figurative artist, she tries to combine subject painting with abstract street art.
Expressive and emotionally vivid characters of the artist have already been successfully presented at the exhibition in New York.
