In London The national gallerynow is the most interesting exhibitionthe works of two Italian artists Michelangelo and Sebastiano del Piombo.
This is the first exhibition which reveals the relationship between artists, tells in detail about their work together explores the impact on the creativity of each other.
Michelangelo and Sebastiano del Piombo belonged to different art schools: the first was to Florence, the second to Venice.
But at the same time, the power of imagination and the talent of the sculptor Michelangelo, combined with the skill Sebastiano in oil painting, has led to stunning results.
The exhibition presents approximately seventy exhibits – General paintings (including two key ones: "lamentation over the dead Christ (the Pieta)" and "Resurrection of Lazarus"), writing each of them individually, drawings, sculptures and writing.
At that time, like paintings devote the viewer into a creative dialogue of such different artists, the correspondence of Michelangelo and Sebastiano sheds light not only on their relationships, but also the era in which they lived: share news stories about their plans and personal experiences, agreement on joint projects.
