Karol Felix. Lightcatchers

In the Kiev Center for Contemporary Art "White Light" an exhibition of the winner of the triennale of Small forms of graphics "Intaglio" by a Slovak artist is held Karol Felix "Lightcatchers". The master presented works in the techniques of intaglio printing, digital graphics, postage stamps and ex-libris. The works of the author are metaphorical, bright, clear and verified, at the same time smooth and psychedelic.

The name of the exhibition can be translated as "Hunters of Light." Light has always interested the author as an important part of reality, a symbol of life and positive energy. His work in various printing techniques was the result of reflections on nature and the mystery of light.

Karol Felix is engaged in painting, graphics, installations, illustration, postage stamp design and sculpture. Lives and works in Nitra (Slovakia). He is a member of the Union of Fine Arts of Slovakia, the Union of Graphic Artists, the G-Point Group, the Association of Czech Artists Hollar. He took part in more than 150 collective exhibitions and contests of visual art, won more than 30 awards and held over 60 solo exhibitions.
