Exhibition April 5 − June 15, 2019
Magnitogorsk Art Gallery presents the exhibition "Eternal values".
The exposition is composed entirely of the collection of the Magnitogorsk Picture Gallery. The key exhibits are designer jewelry made from Ural gems, Baltic amber, and coral from the southern seas. Everything else - stone and mammoth bone carving, Florentine mosaic, art glass, edged weapons with decorative processing, picturesque canvases - just a colorful frame of unique decorations. In total, the exhibition "Eternal Values" presents almost 250 exhibits.
The collection was formed in the 1980s of the last century and is a true indicator of the tastes of the era. The artistic taste and craftsmanship of jewelers and carvers turned metal and the best natural stones into reference works of art.
Jewelry rarely leaves the museum storerooms: the last time the exhibits were shown in full more than 10 years ago.
