Fyodor Dostoevsky Literary and Memorial Museum presents an exhibition “Gennady Manzhaev. Anxiety. Time".
Gennady Manzhaev - Petersburg artist, born August 7, 1950 in the town of Kupino, Novosibirsk Region. His personality is complex and multidimensional. Being in constant spiritual search, he is looking for adequate ways of expression. Therefore, a striking variety of states and technical embodiments in his art. Naturally for him and stylistic diversity from exquisitely refined to brutalism and naive.
The techniques and materials Manzhaev works with are the most diverse: painting, pastels, graphics, woodcarving, textiles, and even literary text.
The exhibition allows the viewer to touch some areas of his creative thought.
