Exhibition April 23 − May 19, 2019
The Russian Academy of Arts and the Art Gallery of Zurab Tsereteli present an exhibition of works by honored artist of Azerbaijan Museib Amirov "Blues of the solar wind".
The exposition will be about a hundred, created over the past four years, paintings and graphic works of one of the most prominent representatives of the modern artistic life of Azerbaijan. Some of them will be on display for the first time.
In the paintings and graphic works of Museib Amirov - both large, large-scale and chamber - reflects the world of the artist, complex and multidimensional. In this world there is a place for both lyrical memories of childhood, a nostalgic transparent melody, and emotional experiences associated with contemporary reality. Having absorbed the ideas of European artists of different epochs, from the Renaissance to the Russian avant-garde, American painters, as well as the masters of the Absheron school, Museib Amirov found his own language, in his own way interpreting relevant topics and eternal themes of art.
The paintings of Museib Amirov are represented in museums and private collections in Azerbaijan, Turkey, the United States, Russia, Sweden, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Norway and Denmark.
