The works in "Papel Chicano Dos" date back to the late 1980s and now remind about the influence of pre-Hispanic symbols and post-revolutionary nationalist Mexican motifs on the 1960s Chicano movements and modern urban culture.

Fine art has been an integral part of the Chicano movement and continues to be a powerful tool for the Mexican-American community to voice the problems that affect them today.
