In Kiev, the Shcherbenko Art Center presents a personal exhibition of Vladimir Sai “
Housing Complex". The exposition consists of ceramic human figures located in a panel cabinet. Each figure is clamped in a small cell - a symbolic room. The sculptures are made in recognizable author's technique "ceramic sketches". Images of human bodies - relaxed, expressive and relaxed. The figures are painted in different colors: white, brown, red.
In the “LCD” project, the processes of compacting the living space of citizens are transformed into artistic practice. Through a symbolic image of a residential complex, the author seeks to show how strongly modern living conditions influence a person.
Vladimir Say was born in 1977 in Kiev. He graduated from the Kiev Art College of Arts and Industry,
faculty of painting. He studied at the graphics department of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. He presented his work at solo and group exhibitions.
