Time to drink tea
Exhibition April 28 − June 16, 2019
Gallery "On Kashirka" Museum Association "Exhibition Halls of Moscow" invites to the exhibition “It’s Always Tea-Time”.
The exhibition presents samples of graphics, drawings, illustrations, author dolls and art objects, united by the main plot - the scene of insane tea-drinking from the book “Alice in Wonderland” by Lewis Carroll.
The project participants are more than 80 authors from 19 countries of the world. Among the authors are leading illustrators, widely known in their countries and beyond, as well as artists who have not yet engaged in illustration, but have represented their state at major international exhibitions (Venice Biennale, Tallinn Illustration Triennale). In 2019, it marks exactly 140 years of the first translation of “Alice” into Russian.
