In the museum of Ivan George Pinzel in Lviv, an exhibition "Kiev diary»Vlada Ralko. The cycle consists of almost 400 drawings made with watercolor and a ballpoint pen. The artist began working on the series together with the first events of the Ukrainian protest of 2013 in Kiev - the name of the project, made in the form close to diary entries, was born from here.
The author writes: “When I started drawing the“ diary ”, of course, I didn’t know when I would finish. At first the sheets were dated 2013-2014, later the dating was changed to 2013-2015. I realized that the drawing of the series is exhausted and begins to come to an end when the events went in a circle. The same picture became relevant several times, the reality of the beginning is itself. It was as if people had pierced holes into the light and had illuminated things for some time through them. While these wells are healing, like wounds, so that we again plunge into the darkness of sorrowful insensitivity. "
