Veronica Yeager: Doomed to Popularity

Exhibition June 7 − July 26, 2019
Veronica Jäger explores the concept of impermanence, using bubbles as metaphorical interpretations of life. Through images of imaginary fantastical scenarios and imaginative characters, she incorporates pieces of nature, human physiology, childhood memories, metaphysics and beliefs into her paintings. The continuous exploration and expression of these random elements gave shape to a unique, symbolic language intended to contrast the realities and demonstrate the interconnection of the whole.

Veronica Yeager is a Venezuelan-born artist who has lived in the United States since 2000. Her works have received wide recognition in solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad, including awards, grants and publications. She received her master's degree in studio painting from the University of Texas-RGV.
