Vlada Ralko. Wedding
Exhibition May 16 − June 30, 2019
Voloshyn Gallery in Kiev presents a personal exhibition of Vlada Ralko "Wedding". The central part of the exhibition is a series of works "Celebration". The works from this series continue each other and are arranged in a sequence of the “wedding train”. To create works the artist uses her own long-term observations of Kiev weddings. The author turns the elements of traditional celebrations into attributes of ceremonial Roman processions or scenes of bacchanal.
Vlada Ralko was born in 1969 in Kiev. She graduated from the Republican Art High School, the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1994. The artist conducts active exhibition activities in Ukraine and abroad. Works were exhibited at the Lincoln Center (New York, USA), galleries Rebellminds (Berlin, Germany), Kunstlerhous (Vienna, Austria), Saatchi Gallery (London, UK) and others. Voloshyn Gallery presented the works of Ralko at Scope Miami Beach (2017) and the Dallas Art Fair (2019). Now the author lives and works in Kiev.
