Exhibition March 31 − June 19, 2019
An exhibition is held in the memorial apartment of Svyatoslav Richter"Memories of Japan" from the cycle “Years of wandering”.
The exhibition presents exhibits from the collection of Svyatoslav Richter and the funds of the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. A. S. Pushkin, indicating a great passion for Japan. Among them are the prints of Katsushiki Hokusai from the collection of S. Richter, as well as several ukiyo-e engravings of Japanese masters of the 19th century from the museum funds. In addition, an extremely diverse collection of Japanese porcelain and ceramics is presented.
Visiting the exhibition for visitors, as well as every journey for Richter, will be an exciting immersion into the culture of this mysterious for every European "Land of the Rising Sun".
