The organizer of the exhibition, Alik Zhuravlev, insists: “The ladder is not a ladder; and therefore not just a rise — spiritual growth. ” The “Ladder” of St. John is a guide to perfection, angels ascend in the Bible along the Jacob's Ladder. Kiev descents and hills are equipped with their own stairs. "

“The movement is already embedded in the very image of the scroll, in an unstressed canvas. My first scrolls were just a touch to this image, new ones - the development of previous ones. Up or down? Sometimes (and in some way) definitely definitely - this is an upward movement. In this case, something automatically rolls down. That is, there is an eternal movement, not stagnation, rather - the search for balance, balance, ”says the artist.
