Vladislav Shereshevsky. POST

The Art Center “Chocolate House” in Kiev presents a personal exhibition of Vladislav Shereshevsky “POST". In his works, the author uses large strokes, texture and painstaking processing of parts. His paintings are executed in a realistic tradition and in the aesthetics of primitivism, grotesque, postmodernist irony and self-irony, neo-pop art. The artist in his work considers a lot of borderline states and processes in society as a whole, and in individuals in particular.

Vladislav Shereshevsky was born in 1964 in Kiev. He graduated from the Republican Art High School, Kiev State Art Institute. Since 1992 is a member of the Union of Artists of Ukraine. Since 1995 - scholar of the Ministry of Culture of Germany. His works are in private collections of M. Riss (Hamburg), the Municipal Gallery of Munich, private collections in the USA, Israel, Greece, Sweden, Italy, Poland, Holland, France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine and in museums of Ukraine. He lives and works in Kiev.
