Hamlet Zinkovsky. Nothing extra

In the Center for Contemporary Art M17 in Kiev, an exhibition of the Kharkov artist Hamlet Zinkovsky "Nothing extra". At the exhibition, the author presented three of his projects at once. The Piece of the Earth project is a folder with drawings devoted to a 100-year history of a piece of land and three generations of people whose lives left their traces on it. The Pending War project is not thematic collection. The project "Polaroid 2015" - a personal diary in the drawings.

“Nothing superfluous is what I remind myself many times a day. Not many things are needed for life: you fly to one country with another suitcase for another month - and nothing, you did not die without sets, curtains, floor lamps” - says the artist.

Hamlet Zinkovsky was born in 1986 in Kharkov. He studied at the Kharkov Academy of Design and Art, the faculty of monumental painting. He lives and works in Kharkov, participates in exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad. The author's street art is distinguished by its graphical style of performance and the presence of characteristic author texts. In his works, he leaves the signature "Gam years" (Ukrainian. "The noise of years"), emphasizing the social orientation of his own creativity.
