Afif Aga. Inner phoenix

In the Kiev gallery "ABC-art" is an exhibition of the Syrian artist Afif Aga "Inner phoenix". The exhibition presents about fifty of the best sculptures and paintings of the author. Chamber sculptures are brightly individual in character. In the lines, ornamental elements, tactility of the processed surfaces, the national specificity of the image is traced. In painting, the author prefers a combination of color-collisions, showing the deep essence of the vision in multi-figure clearly rhythmized compositions.

Afif Aga was born in 1959 in Syria. Member of Syrian Plastic Artist's Union since 1993. In 2014, he founded his own museum-gallery “Quartz Hall” (Lattakia). Participant of numerous group exhibitions in Syria and abroad.
