Jewels for America
Metropolitan Museum presents an exhibition "Jewels for America".

The exhibition explores the evolution of jewelry in this country, from the beginning of the eighteenth century to the present day. Five chronological sections of the exhibition show changes in styles, materials and methods of creating jewelry. In addition, it is shown how all of them are woven into a socio-historical narrative.

The exhibition features about a hundred exhibits from the Metropolis Museum collection, including recently acquired and rarely exhibited items.

Based on the materials of the official site Metropolitan Museum.
