Dialogues

In the halls of the Russian Academy of Arts will be held an exhibition of works by Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Svetlana Demkina and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Arts Akop Khalafyan "Dialogues".

The exhibition includes pictorial, graphic and sculptural works created by the authors in recent years.

The exhibition features about two dozen works by metal sculptor Hakob Khalafyan. The exhibition allows viewers to get acquainted with the imaginative world of the artist, his search for a new plastic shaping, to join in emotional empathy. Viewers will also be able to see vivid pictorial and graphic works by Svetlana Demkina, whose work is characterized by coloristic minimalism, expressive volumes and original color solutions. In his author's works, he boldly connects the epos and lyrics, archaic and avant-garde, painting and graphics.

The creative work of S. Demkina and A. Khalafyan embodies the most lively artistic ideas and arises at the junction of plastic forms, materials and new ways of using them.
