Exhibition June 1 − August 31, 2019
Tomsk Regional Museum of Art presents an exhibition of one painting "Grigory Choros-Gurkin. Lake Karakol".

The work “Lake Karakol” is one of the largest works of the master since its creation in 1909, its dimensions are 152x202 cm.

The canvas never left Tomsk, initially the work was kept in the regional museum, where often from the 1940s to 1977 was exhibited in his art gallery. The exposition of the art museum, where it is currently located, was last seen about 20 years ago. For many viewers familiarity with this grand canvas of the largest Siberian artist will be a real discovery.

The unusual magical atmosphere of the exhibition helps to plunge into the world of Altai's nature, its legends and tales, to feel the connection between man and nature.
