About the exhibition
This fall, the Goss Michael Foundation Gallery presents a collection of new paintings created by artist Ryan Hewitt specifically for the GMF space. The work is a continuation of the artist's growing accent on the form and order in his compositions, which contrasts sharply with the loose, gestural style that characterized his earlier works. Viewers expect figurative portraits, as well as large-scale landscapes and more abstract compositions.
