Igor Selemenev. Black month

In Kiev, the art space "Mayak" is a personal exhibition of graphics Igor Selemenev "Black month". This is a series of new works dedicated to the subconscious sensations and mystical images associated with the human being.
Metaphors and metamorphoses became the main theme of the exhibition. Black-and-white works are a reflection of dark and light parts of our superconscious, which often changes depending on the emotional state of a person, but always keeps a perpetual darkness. The line of being dissolves on paper, the plot is deformed to abstraction.
“This is about the frailty, decay and impossibility of the Kingdom of God on Earth. My work is not about escaping into emptiness, but about her stepping, ”says the artist.
