Get confused in everyday life

Exhibition March 17, 2018 − August 25, 2019
At the exhibition of the Institute of Contemporary Art of Boston "Get confused in everyday life"presents the main works that demonstrate the participation of artists in everyday life. Interest in common materials and commonplace subjects was the defining theme of artistic practice in the 20th century, inspiring a cubist collage, found sculpture and widespread photographs. Watching and being in the world, artists raise and create significant textures and experiences.

The exhibition features the recently acquired works of Anthony Hernandez, Sanja Kantarovsky, Robert Pruitt and Lynette Yiad-Boackier. All these artists interact creatively with their everyday worlds, inviting others to take part in the beauty, dignity and reality of everyday life.
